The Language Arts Early Learning Program provides each LAEL family with their own yearly curriculum map.

This way you can follow along and feel confident in knowing what your child is learning at school each day and extend the learning at home.

Primary Program (Ages 1–2 Years)

"Nurturing Curiosity Through Safe Exploration"

Our Primary class offers a gentle introduction to the world of learning through play. In a safe, loving, and sensory-rich environment, toddlers explore their surroundings, build trust with caregivers, and begin to develop language, motor skills, and social awareness.

Focus Areas:

Sensory and exploratory play
Early language exposure through songs and stories
Movement activities to support gross motor development
Parallel play and social bonding
Consistent routines for emotional security

Foundation Program (Ages 2–3 Years)

"Building Confidence Through Discovery"

The Foundation program encourages active exploration and growing independence. Children engage in hands-on, play-based experiences that support emerging skills in communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

Focus Areas:

Vocabulary building and expressive language
Simple counting, sorting, and pattern activities
Art, music, and movement for creative expression
Group play and turn-taking
Emotional awareness and self-help skills

Preparatory Program (Ages 3–4 Years)

"Learning Through Purposeful Play"

In the Preparatory class, children are introduced to early academic concepts through structured yet playful experiences. The program supports curiosity, critical thinking, and foundational literacy and numeracy skills, while nurturing social development and creativity.

Focus Areas:

Letter and number recognition
Storytelling, rhymes, and pre-writing skills
Science and nature exploration
Cooperative play and group projects
Strengthening fine and gross motor skills

Our Pre-Reception program prepares children for a smooth transition into formal schooling. Through a blend of structured learning and creative play, children develop key academic, social, and emotional skills in a stimulating and supportive environment.

Early reading, writing, and math concepts
Problem-solving and reasoning skills
Increased independence and self-regulation
Collaborative learning and communication
